Polyvinyl Chloride PVC
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a major thermoplastic material finding use in a very wide variety of applications and products.
Automotive seat coverings
The essential raw materials for PVC are derived from salt and oil. The electrolysis of salt water produces chlorine, which is combined with ethylene, obtained from oil, to form vinyl chloride monomer (VCM). Molecules of VCM are polymerised to form PVC resin, to which appropriate additives are incorporated to make a customised PVC compound

Different kind of emboss can be applied through the PVC and PU quality
So If we are talking about PVC synthetic leather, we should discuss about these elements:
- The name of articles (off course)
- The thickness in millimeters. More thickness equals to more chemical coating and therefore affected the price of the synthetic leather
- The Coating. Is this a single coating or double coating? The more coating the more durability it is and more expensive.
- The Backing Cloth.This is the cloth underneath the coating. Can be single knit, double knit, or polylotto or any kind of fabrics. This elements define the tear strength of the PVC synthetic leather
- Tone Color.One tone or two tone. The two tone is usually called printing

1. Clean your shoes with mild leather shampoo or mild cleaning foam, and use a good quality brush to remove loose surface dirt. If your shoes are wet after cleaning, let them air-dry before you proceed with the next step. To remove stains, use a stain remover. DO NOT store wet leather shoes near a heat source, as shoes may shrink.
